The most advanced exploration, research, and media vessel ever built.oceanX

The 87-meter research vessel is the flagship of OceanX, a non-profit exploration and media initiative with the great mission to uncover the secrets of the ocean and share them with the world. The initiative also supports and facilitates ocean research for scientists, science institutions, media companies and philanthropy partners. Apart from the highest-level of research equipment, she also features onboard wet and dry science labs and a high-level Hollywood-caliber media production studio developed in consultation with filmmaker James Cameron. 

Aqualuce has been involved in different areas of the project:

Developing the ship’s lighting (safety and functional lighting), lighting for exploration laboratories, lighting for filming and media (required various static and dynamic lighting compatible with filming wildlife, nature and deep ocean cinematography);

Technical and media areas with Steve Gresham;

Crew areas with Christina Fallah;

Accommodation & Guest areas with Christina Fallah;

Lighting Design/Engineering, Control, Project Management, Database, Programming and Commissioning by Aqualuce.
